1. Information We Collect
Astria ("the App") is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address or telephone number in order to use the App.
To generate a natal chart and personalised readings, you may enter information such as:
- A name or display name
- Date of birth
- Time of birth
- Place of birth (city, region or coordinates)
- Preferences such as house system or units
This information is used to provide the App's functionality and, where applicable, is stored locally on your device.
Birth date, time and place are needed to calculate planetary positions, houses, transits and reports such as a Solar Return. If a birth time is estimated, some results (especially houses and rising sign) are approximate.
2. How We Use Information
Information entered into the App is used solely to provide and improve Astria, including calculating charts, daily energy, transits, moon data, scores and written interpretations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
3. Analytics and Diagnostics
The App may use Apple's standard services and/or third-party services to help us understand App performance, diagnose crashes and improve the App.
Where such services are used, they may collect limited technical information such as:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- App version
- Crash information
- General diagnostic information
This information is intended to help us identify technical problems and improve reliability. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
If the App offers paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed through Apple's App Store.
We do not receive or store your credit card, debit card or other payment details.
Apple may collect and process information associated with purchases in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy.
5. Third-Party Services

Astria does not knowingly sell your personal information to advertisers.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children's Privacy
Astria is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that appropriate steps can be taken.
9. Data Retention
Information stored locally by the App generally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the App, or otherwise delete the relevant profile or chart.
Deleting the app removes data stored on your device.
Information processed by third-party services is retained according to their respective privacy policies and retention practices.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to:
- Request information about personal data that may be processed about you
- Request correction or deletion of personal information
- Object to certain types of processing
- Request restriction of processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Because the App is designed to keep chart data on your device, there may be little or no personal information held by us that can be associated with you. You can delete profiles and charts in the App, or uninstall the App, to remove local data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws or the services we use.
Any updated Privacy Policy will be made available with the App or on the associated website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
